Counselling is a process by which you can learn to better understand your thoughts, feelings, physiology and behaviours. Through this new understanding it is believed that you will be able to explore new ways of coping with difficulties and be able to overcome problematic patterns in your life.

People come to counselling for a variety of reasons and although you can probably get through life's challenges without counselling, talking to a trained professional can help you feel and cope better.  

There are many different approaches to counselling. As a counsellor I integrate a variety of approaches, depending on the client and their needs.

What is most important is that you feel comfortable, accepted, and emotionally safe with any counsellor you choose. If you have further questions about my approach, feel free to ask.
